Essential nutrients are that are needed by all living things. these nutrient must be either be fed or made by the animal from building blocks obtained through eating drinking and breathing.

Energy requirements for cattle and energy content of feeds are expressed in several different ways :-

The digestion system consists of the part of the body involved in chewing and digesting feed.

This system also moves the digested feed through the animal's body and absorbs the products of digestion. 

Different species of animal are better able to digest certain types of feets than other this difference occur because of the various type of digestive system found in animals.


There are 4 basic type of digestive systems :-

3. Ruminant and 

4. Pseudo rominant
